Uncle Van

Van Smith, affectionately known as “Uncle Van,” is the visionary founder of CrossEyed Campus Ministries. With over 11 years as the Sports Chaplain at Morehouse College, he is deeply rooted in the Atlanta community.

With a career dedicated to mentoring young minds, Uncle Van has coached at Clark Atlanta University and Douglass High School, and established a Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle. He has also served as Director of Youth Ministries at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral and as an educator in the Atlanta Public School System.

We offer chaplain services to the Football, Baseball, and Basketball teams at Morehouse College, providing spiritual mentorship and support to student-athletes.
